Our success track record

Porcher Brazil was created in the year 1976 in the city of Itu, 96 km from São Paulo, and began the production of technical items in 1980. It belongs to the Porcher Group, which started in France in 1912 with a natural silk weave for application in lingerie. Currently it no longer manufactures silk fabric, but, instead, a wide range of technical textile items meant for various applications in the processing industry. It has several lines of products, comprising glass and/or polyester yarn with or without the addition of coatings, fabric and reinforcement scrims (grilles) made with glass or polyester filaments, polyamide fabrics ,para-aramid, and carbon composites.

With manufacturing units in Europe (France and England), North (United States) and South America (Brazil), and Asia, and offices spread throughout the world, the group has the capacity and agility that are necessary to service clients in highly demanding sectors, amongst which companies that supply the automotive industry, electronic industry, plastics, civil construction and sports. Industrial plants with Quality Certification, three Research & Development centers and an industrial park enable a fast response to the needs of clients that produce special items with high aggregate technology.


The Brazilian factory is installed in a 26,000 square meters area, 13,083 of which is built area, and is equipped with machinery dedicated to the production of reinforcement scrims, fabric and special yarns. With ISO 9001:2008 certification, technology and know-how brought from the head office, the company keeps itself up to date and ready to follow the trends and needs of the markets in which it operates, manufacturing and developing new items according to rigorous standards of quality. In addition to meeting the needs of its local market, it also exports its products to various countries.
